April 9th- Interview Due

Your interview is due by Monday, April 9th (first day back from Spring Break)
You need to turn in the following:
(1) Blue sheet confirmation filled out
(2) Transcription of the interview
(3) Thank you card- already addressed with a stamp

Hard Deadline March 23rd!!!!!

Proposal is due by 8 am. Read the hanout for instructions on how to write your proposal.

Confirmation of interview is also du by tomorrow. Forward your email to your Humanities teacher for interview.

HW Tuesday, March 20th

Work on "Planning your Proposal" handout. Be sure to add lots of details. The handout is your "brainstorm/outline" for your proposal. We will give you feedback in class.

Be ready to take the EAP tomorrow.
Review the handout Ms. Perry went over today in class.

Reread the hanout on the "How to write a proposal". Read, annotate and label the proposal given to you.
Start to confirm your possible interviews.

Homework for Monday, March 19th

Written review of 4 senior exhibitions

Take notes and answer the following questions for each exhibition-

-What is the essential question?
-What was the speakers arguement and answer?
-What evidence was provided to back up your speakers argument/answer?
-Were you persuaded? Why or why not? Be specific!
-Did the visuals help you better understand the topic? Why/Why not?

Each review should be 7-9 sentences long. The review should be typed or writeen in pen. Proofread your work!

HW Wednesday, March 14th

• Continue working on your background research and your Annotated Work Cited Page- due Friday, March 16th by 8am.

• You should also be scheduling your interviews- use the email contact template to help you. You need to have an interviewee confirmed by Friday, March 23rd.


• Lab day tomorrow

March 12th Homework

1. Continue gathering additional research for your guiding questions- read the feedback we gave you

2. Begin writing your research, you must have-

-topic and transition sentences.
-concrete details
- analysis (CM)
-text notes and AWCP

Remember, your background paper must be 3 pages.
It must be double spaced and in Times New Roman font.
There is a HARD DEADLINE of 8am on Friday morning.
