Your final project is due tomorrow in class. Be sure to review the grade sheet. We are looking for how you argue your answer to the unit question- has there been any change in the role of women politically, economically or socially.

HW for Friday, December 9th

We spent a good chunk in class working on the final project for this unit, "Women's Rights Graphic Essay". Over the weekend, look for art supplies you can use to help you with the project. Monday, December 13th will be a work day in class. Project due Tuesday, December 13th.

Continue to read an annotate "Women Voters Can't Be Trusted" by Gloria Steinem. As you read and annotate- respond to the text. What do you agree with? What do you disagree with? We will have a discussion on the article on Monday.

HW Wednesday, November 30th

Continue to "translate" the "Declaration of Sentiments". You will struggle with the words and meaning (look up words in dictionary). Think about the role women had politically, socially and economically during this time (review your notes). Tomorrow in class, we will discuss the main ideas/arguments presented in this important document. Try your hardest.

Finish reading Zinn's article. As you read, annotate the article- be sure to highlight and label any facts dealing with political, economical or societal themes. This will help you with our class share out tomorrow. 30 HW Points

HW Monday, November 28th

Write about a time that you were judged, persecuted or steotyped because of your GENDER. Don't put your name onit and tupe is so it's anonymous. Make sure it's something you are comfortable with the class to hearing- but iw till be anonymous.

Final drafts due tomorrow. Remember to read your rubrics and HIGHLIGHT changes from previous drafts.

HW Thursday, November 17th

Rough drafts are due tomorrow. Be sure to read the feedback for both body paragraphs. Use the rubric and "friendly reminders" for your rough draft. RD must have textnotes AND Work Cited Page. Be sure draft is 12 point font, Times New Roman and double spaced.
